Member Terms of Service

These Member Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Cana Reserve platform ("Platform") and your membership benefits. By purchasing a membership or accessing the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Membership
1.1 Eligibility. Membership is available to individuals 21 years of age or older. By purchasing a membership, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
1.2 Personal Use. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. You may not share your account, credentials, or redemption access with others. One membership account per person.
1.3 Membership Term. Standard memberships are annual and renew automatically unless cancelled. Founding memberships are locked at the founding rate for as long as the membership remains active and in good standing.
1.4 Beta and Institutional Access. Members who receive access through a beta program or institutional partner (such as a credit union, employer, or association) are subject to the terms of that program in addition to these Terms.
2. Payment and Cancellation
2.1 Billing. Membership fees are billed annually at the time of purchase and on each anniversary date. Payment is processed via Stripe.
2.2 Auto-Renewal. Memberships auto-renew at the then-current rate (or your locked founding rate, if applicable) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
2.3 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
2.4 Refunds. Memberships are non-refundable after the first 7 days following initial purchase, except where required by law.
3. Redemption Rules
3.1 Active Membership Required. Benefits may only be redeemed by members with an active, paid membership in good standing.
3.2 One Redemption Per Partner Per Period. Members are limited to one redemption per partner business per 30-day period. This limit is enforced by the Platform and cannot be circumvented.
3.3 Redemption Screen. Offers are redeemed by presenting an active redemption screen from the Cana Reserve app to venue staff. The screen expires 5 minutes after activation. Expired screens will not be honored.
3.4 Fraud Prevention. Attempting to circumvent redemption limits, sharing redemption screens, screen-capturing active screens for fraudulent use, or any other manipulation of the redemption system is grounds for immediate account termination without refund.
3.5 Partner Restrictions. Each partner may apply their own restrictions (blackout dates, reservation requirements, party size limits, etc.) as disclosed in their offer. Cana Reserve is not responsible for benefits declined due to partner-imposed restrictions.
4. Benefits and Partner Network
4.1 Network Changes. The Cana Reserve partner network changes over time. Partners may join or leave the Platform, and offers may change. Cana Reserve does not guarantee that any specific partner will remain in the network for the duration of your membership.
4.2 No Guarantee of Availability. Partner locations operate independently. Cana Reserve cannot guarantee that any specific location will be open, able to accommodate members, or honor offers on any particular day. Members should verify partner hours and availability before visiting.
4.3 Regional Expansion. Benefits are available at partner locations in active regions. As Cana Reserve expands into new regions and categories, those benefits will become available to all active members.
5. Account and Privacy
5.1 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
5.2 Location Data. The member app may request access to your device location to enable near-me discovery and map features. Location access is optional. Cana Reserve collects location permission status for fraud prevention purposes. We do not sell location data.
5.3 Privacy Policy. Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Conduct
Members agree to treat partner staff and venues with respect. Cana Reserve reserves the right to terminate any membership, without refund, for conduct that is abusive, fraudulent, or that damages the reputation of Cana Reserve or its partners.
7. Disclaimers and Liability
7.1 Platform Availability. Cana Reserve does not warrant uninterrupted access to the Platform. We may perform maintenance or experience technical issues from time to time.
7.2 Partner Experience. Cana Reserve is not responsible for the quality, safety, or experience provided by partner businesses. Any concerns about a specific partner should be reported to [email protected].
7.3 Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cana Reserve's total liability to any member for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the membership in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. General
8.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
8.2 Updates. Cana Reserve may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Platform after notice constitutes acceptance.
